On Sunday, December 4th, at St Thomas More Church, Seaford, the Ashdown Singers delighted everyone with their stunning annual concert which raised a fantastic £800 for HOMELINK’s Winter Appeal this year.

The Ashdown Singers are a group of 25 experienced voices led by charismatic Musical Director, Sam Barton. Their concert, ‘Christmas with the Ashdown Singers’, has become a seasonal favourite locally thanks to the high standard of singing and their wonderfully festive repertoire.

The choral ensemble has supported HOMELINK for several years now by delivering their popular Christmas concert to raise funds for our service. All proceeds this year will go towards HOMELINK’s Winter Appeal, set-up to assist HOMELINK’s vulnerable clients.

The HOMELINK team wishes to thank all the of singers for sharing their time and wonderful voices in aid of HOMELINK this Christmas, and to everyone who attended and gave so generously.

Additional thanks also to our Patrons Mrs Kathy Gore OBE DL, Rev. Bridget Banks (Moderator of the URC Southern Synod and Rev), Barbara Evans-Routley (Methodist Superintendent & Co-leader of the Central Sussex United Area) along with local dignitaries, Cllr Olivia Honeyman (Mayor of Seaford), Cllr Adrian Ross (Chair of Lewes District Council), Cllr Paul Boswell (Mayor of Newhaven) and Cllr David Seabrook (Deputy Mayor of Peacehaven) who all attended the concert in support of HOMELINK.
