Schools and Colleges

We work closely with local schools and colleges to fundraise and raise awareness of our work, through concerts and events, sponsorship, challenges and Charity of the Year donations.

Our 20th Anniversary Gala at Glyndebourne Opera House showcased the talent and work of students from East Sussex College, Lewes Old Grammar School, Bedes and Brighton College, as well as students from schools across Brighton & Hove who belong to the city’s StreetFunk dance crews.

Some ways that you can help

HOMELINK is keen to work with more schools and colleges across Sussex. We urgently need your advocacy to reduce the current homeless situation and to help local families access a safe, secure and permanent new home, without having to move children away from friends and schools. Here’s how you can help:

  • Invite HOMELINK to your school or college to hold an assembly or give a presentation to your class.
  • Make a donation from money raised by an event or performance.
  • Hold a HOMELINK challenge or event to raise funds to support our work. Download our A-Z list of fundraising ideas for schools and colleges.

FREE resources are also available to support your fundraising efforts, including sponsorship forms, bunting and badges.
