The Concert, given by the Ashdown Singers in St Thomas More Church, Seaford, was a wonderful way to start the Christmas season. We were treated to an interesting variety of festive choral music. Those attending were generous in their donation of £710 in the retiring collection.

Among those present were some of our patrons (The Rt Revd Richard Jackson, Bishop of Lewes; Maria Caulfield, MP; and Bill Shelford, Deputy Lieutenant of East Sussex, representing the Lord Lieutenant). In addition, many local dignitaries also attended. After the concert, audience members joined the singers to enjoy tea, coffee and mince pies in the church hall to round off a splendid afternoon.
